Charting the Brand’s Evolution

Reliability, responsiveness and resilience – three words that de‑ne our strategy came to the fore during the pandemic. From supporting the Government of India’s ‘Lifeline Udan’ initiative, leveraging the power of technology to enhance customer experience, providing safety measures during the pandemic with our contact less delivery etc., our strategy of being the employer of choice, provider of choice & investment of choice has allowed the business to sustain with engaged & motivated employees, and customer centricity and thereby generate stakeholder value; so, irrespective of a crisis, our strategy brings out the best in us. All that we have worked out through the years was stress tested during the pandemic, and we performed admirably.

­The partnership with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of Telangana, World Economic Forum, NITI Aayog, and Healthnet Global and the opportunity to do the first BVLOS trials was also only because of our reliability, resilience, and responsiveness. As we progress into the future, as the nation’s trade facilitator, immersion in digitization, automation, and future technologies will be our vision.

Decoding the Brand Philosophy

Blue Dart’s USP is our quick delivery, fast turnaround time, and assurance that our consignee’s shipment will be safely delivered. When the pandemic hit, we committed to deliver the extra 100% required to maintain supply chain continuity, operated across the country & across borders, and supported our nation’s fiight against the virus that caused havoc globally. We completely understand that a shipment, something as small as a keychain gift, something as valuable as bank documents, or something as crucial as a vaccine or a testing kit matters to our customer, and therefore, it matters to us. Th­erefore, the phrase ‘We Move So Your World Can Move’ and ‘If it’s Important, #BlueDart IT’.

In alignment with this, we recently launched our TVC Ad campaign with a multimedia approach across traditional and digital mediums with the goal to highlight Blue Dart as the preferred logistics brand for critical shipments, e-commerce, & Temperature Controlled Logistics – #We Move SoYour World Can Move, #BlueDart IT.

Having said that, a major chunk of our customer base involves traditional loyalists. ­us, word-of-mouth adds an equal amount of value. However, we consciously maintain a good balance between these two approaches, as we find that this is what helps us achieve the optimum results.

A Commitment to Going Green

As an environmentally committed organisation, we understand our responsibility towards the planet. With a clear strategy to guide us and a purpose to drive us, our vision is to make a lasting positive impact on tomorrow.

Blue Dart has always remained one step ahead of the curve and continues to work towards providing long-term sustainability through several initiatives that help the environment. Following the Sustainability Roadmap, as a part of the DPDHL Group, we work towards clean operations for climate protection (Environment), being a great company to work for all (Social), as well as a highly trusted company (Governance).

We fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN through many initiatives that fall under its three pillars of corporate responsibility – GoGreen, GoTeach and GoHelp. Our goal is to achieve Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050 under the ‘Mission 2050’ target set by the DPDHL Group. Blue Dart has been planting 111,000 trees every year, amounting to 555,000 trees till date which will offset 1,11,00,000 of CO2 on maturity.

Th­e UNFCC Climate Neutral Now pledge enables us to quantify the impact of our initiatives, and we will continue to set the standard for the future of the logistics industry.
